So far the push notifications are working very well. However, the contact syncing actually deleted all of my contacts and replaced them with some contacts from facebook that were NOT even close to being correct. I'm not too happy about this at all. It ended up pushing these changes to my MobileMe cloud so I have basically lost all of my contacts. Way to go facebook!

Now in Japan it's over 5 US dollars a gallon for high octane. For Regular it's around 4.60 to 4.70, Diesel Fuel is the cheapest at around 4.30 and up for a gallon. They sell by the liter here. It will probably go up soon. They also sell Kerosene for stoves in the winter, that's around 14 dollars for 18 liters.

I remember Spock from Star Trek basically made a comment about TV like that. I believe the episode was called "Bread and Circuses". Spock didn't say Scary but since he is half human he probably thought that.

The 400K drives do commonly suffer from hardening lubricating grease. Sliding surfaces also get caked up with dust.
Stripping the eject mechanism, cleaning it and re-greasing it will usually solve the problem if that is ALL that's wrong with it.

After reading the MS Tech-Net Flash, I get weekly, and how my company will have to license Vista/Office neither will be purchased. It is now my mission to have a ~90% Apple environment (1200 plus users) by 2010. I have already introduced Mini's in place of thin clients. They are a huge hit. If Apple stays on course, they CAN make big inroads into corporate markets they have not had before. Vista....who cares.

I am a very new mac user, having just switched in February with the purchase of my iBook. I'm 17 and have been using computers since I was like 6. I remember DOS, Apple IIes, Windows 3.1/95/98/ME/NT, Mac 8. I also spent a year using linux (Mandrake, Redhat, Debian) before going to a mac. I hate PCs.
You ask about hardware. That's not why I switched, though it was a nice bonus. I switched because of OS X.
I always use to be a Windows guy, from a Windows family. My brother's a MCSE. The previous experience I had with Apple was horrible. We had Apple's in our school computer lab, and they were crap. Nothing worked. Now I know that they weren't multitasking. I hated them with a passion and said I'd never use one.
Oh how things have changed. PCs have become the pieces of crap. Windows may be getting better with XP, but it's a different experience. Everything is just better with a Mac. Things just work, right away. I haven't used XP much, but I can tell you it doesn't work like this does.
Windows' interface sucks. Really it does. I'm sure you think the interface in MacOS X is horrible. It's not, it's different. And, it's better. It's easier just use, just because of the interface.
Windows' filesystem sucks. Unix machines have a much better filesystem -- none of the drive crap.
Windows software sucks. There is much less software for OS X than there is for XP. No one can deny that. Fortunately, the software for OS X is usually of a very high quality. It's very well designed and stable.
Windows' interoperability sucks. Windows runs on a huge variety of hardware, but that's noticible from the software. OS X just detects and sets up -- no wizards.
Really I don't expect you to believe this or anything. Maybe you will if you try using one. Things are going to be different for you because you use computers primarily for gaming. A EF-s 50 mm lens is 50 mm on a 1.6 camera. A 50mm EF lens on that same camera is similar in image to a 80mm EF-S lens. The reason for the difference comes into play by the amount of the lens the camera is using to record the image and the proximity of the rear element to the camera sensor.
I have a Sigma 10-20mm (EF-s equivalent) for my 7d. It's Focal lenth is 10-20mm. It's field of view is 16-32mm.
If you could fit it on a full frame (which you can't because of the mirror reflex as explained earlier by someone) but if you could,
it would still have a 10-20mm focal length. However it would have an increased depth of field (over the crop) of 10-20mm.
I dont even think you can get that wide on a full frame. I mean you can get a 8-15mm fish eye, but you would have a circular picture at the widest end.

He's better than the McCain would have been in most things, but on a whole he gives in to the Republicans way too much. He passed their healthcare plan instead of one that would actually work, kept Guantanamo open, and as far as "National Security" goes he's about the same as Bush. So basically, he was the best of the two choices, but still not very good.

Anyone who chooses the simplest operating system (like OS X and iOS, obviously) to accomplish the same tasks *is* savvy.
Whereas I agree that some everyday tasks are "easier" (and by easier I mean accessible via fewer clicks) in OS X; some tasks in OS X, such as networking, is insanely hard than the simplicity of the Network and Sharing Centre provided in Windows.
Both OS's I find have their +'s and -'s in the terms of 'ease of use'. Neither are superior over one another for this. (Although I do think Aero Peek kick's Expose's ass at the moment.)

simple fix - turn off Time Zone Support. TZS, which is on by default, sets the time zone that your calendar displays everything in. but there is an error. the good thing is that you can turn it off, which makes all of your appointments come up in LOCAL time, which is really what you want, right?
but first, write down the times of any appointments that you made from your iphone. those times may change when you turn time zone support off. and if the only place where you put it was in your iphone, you may not know what the real appointment time was.

I got 9A2439 from my University's seeding server, while the one released to devs at WWDC was 9A2441... but nevertheless this updated to 9A2441e.
Upon rebooting I noticed everything was a bit snappier and some minor bugs were fixed. 10.5 is running really speedy... damn near 10.4 or dare I say... faster?
