Spoke with a lawyer - he said have a letter from my company saying i was training our indian vendor and now returning back to resume work in US. Also have proof/documents that shows my US company exists and a verification letter from them.
My question is (i forgot to ask him) what sort of documents i need from my company which shows the company exists - i dont think my company will give out its Tax Returns. What other documents should i ask for?

I am Primary on H1B working 30 hrs base as a full-timer with benefits. If I understood you correctly I can lower my base to 20 hrs per week (without benefits) and still be on H1B visa?

I worked for some time on OPT and then went back to work in India.
I came back in 2005 , the immigration situation being very bad with retrogression I applied for canada immigration from US ( from india
there is a severe backlog...canada has a per immigration visa post backlog unlike us which has per birth country backlog)
I recently got Canada PR , I joined the MBA here at U of Toronto.
Had I been in my early 20s I would have thought about US imigration.
Nowdays it take 7 to 8 years ....thats more than 10 to 15% of your productive life.
I have talked to my friends ( from IIT delhi ) all of them have same opinion...its a lost cause
now. Now that theyhave invested 5 years they dont want to quit.
Only 1 in know who did MS in US and got GC. Rest were all PhD who got GC through EB1.
EB2 , EB3 is all dead now.
Now it too late I need to settled . How can I marry with the insecurity of moving from place to place in search of contract project, bodyshopper eating avay 30% of your billing rate etc.
I have given up hope. There are challenges in Canada as job market is
not that great but atleast I can sleep at night without having to worry
about the immigration. Ihave one more friend working in Canada he also moved from US.
The salary rate etc is lot lower in fact. On the whole Canada is hard for foreign educated...

I don't have an answer to your question, but it seems a Cognovit Promisory Note could exist only between a creditor and debtor, not between an employer and employee.
I am really surprised your employer went to this circuitous way to bond you for your employment obligation. Do take your note's language and consult a good attorney. This is some uncharted territory. Shows how creative these unscrupulous employers are. Still you may have a way out, if you can prove it is employment obligation related.

You are right... you should not submit documents with your LC first submission. In my case, they asked for some documents after my submisission(what it's called Audit); one of them was the Ad which they were not satisfied with it, so they Denied my case. However we appealed sending the whole Ad page making them change the case back to 'In Process'.
I hope so too and thanks for your reply. I am still confused. As far as I know, you are not supposed to send/submit any supporting documents with your LC application unless it is asked for in a later date.
Now my question is, did they ask you to submit the newspaper ad some point after your manager/lawyer submited your LC application online? It seems like you sent the just ad part and they were not satisfied with it and asked more evidence and you sent the whole page again. Did they deny your LC after you sent the whole page ad or what point did they deny it?

such mistakes are not uncommon, i have seen instances in the past where they will accept corrections if you write a letter with a clear explanation. A note of caution when i called USCIS in the past to inquire about sending corrections, they cautioned me to wait until i have a receipt, they said, otherwise the stuff may get lost in mail and will be un-traceable.

What do you mean by 4 part payments?
Here is the scenario
Lets say I have Rs 100,000 principal loan and I can make 4 payments of Rs 22,000 (4X22,000= 88,000) and tells ICICI bank to span rest of Rs. 12,000 (100,000-88,000=12000) in 13 EMI.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
Also note - you are allowed only 4 part payments in a year. Especially with ICICI bank. So plan carefully. That way you are left with only 13 EMI's with a smaller amount.

My company is closing offices and we all will be working from home. My I140 is cleared and I am in process of extending my H1 which expires in june 09.company has no office at india.
I want to know for how long I can work from India on H1 being on US payrole? The

Your Emp A may say anything, but if he revokes your I-140 before you file AC-21, then you will be in trouble. It is always safe to file CA-21

i tried masking the text and having all sort of thing tweening in underneath, but i can't get the rays to beam out like that
just one question: is it done in actionscript?
